According to the BBC, Johnny Ruffo, an Australian TV star and singer, died at the age of 35. “He fought until the very end,” wrote those close to him in a statement regarding his death.

Johnny Ruffo died on November 3 surrounded by his loved ones, his family said in a statement on his Instagram page. “He fought until the very end and fought as hard as he could,” they wrote, adding: “Such a beautiful soul with so much more to offer.”

Ruffo taught himself to play guitar and piano, and wrote his first song at the age of 14. He became famous after participating in the “X Factor Australia” program, which he joined in the third season in 2011. He was in the final of this program. Later, he played in the soap opera “Home and Away” for three years, although initially it was supposed to be only 16 episodes. He was also the winner of Australia’s “Dancing with the Stars.”

The cause of the singer’s death was brain cancer. He was diagnosed with the disease when he came to hospital with severe migraines. After receiving his diagnosis in 2017, Ruffo actively raised funds to help raise awareness of the disease in Australia. After two years of treatment, he was in remission, but the cancer returned in 2020. He said about the song “Let’s Get Lost” released in 2021 that it was his desire to get in the car and go somewhere, get lost for a moment and forget about chemotherapy and all the stress related to the disease.

She publicly expressed her condolences to the family, among others. Mel B from the Spice Girls, who is a judge on “X Factor”. Dannii Minoque also said goodbye to her colleague from the program. “Many will miss his voice, smile and dancing feet,” she wrote on Instagram.
