On September 23, one of the largest K-pop festivals in Europe took place in Poland. Eight stars from South Korea performed at PGE Narodowy. . The organizers already assure that the festival will return to Poland next year.
A few days after KPOP NATION – on September 30 – a concert of BI, the former leader of the band iKON, took place in Stodola, which gathered crowds and sold out his concert in Warsaw. Fan reports on social media show that it was one of the hottest autumn evenings. The atmosphere and the number of people caused one of the fans at the concert to faint, but thanks to the singer’s perceptiveness and quick reaction, she received immediate help from paramedics.
Just a few days ago – on November 4 – a concert of the band ONEUS took place. Warsaw’s Progresja was packed to capacity, as every single ticket for this event was sold out. K-pop in 2023. This is what we’re waiting for!
Although several K-pop events have already become history, new ones are waiting in the queue. Fans must have a lot of cash if they want to attend all the concerts, because the tickets are not the cheapest. The price of the lower-end ones ranges from PLN 100 to PLN 400. The most expensive ones cost almost a thousand zlotys.
On November 11, Lee Seong Jong from the band INFINITE will perform at the Voodoo Club in Warsaw. The singer’s tour was originally supposed to take place at the turn of June and July, but due to the comeback of INFINITE, the dates were changed. Some fans feel disappointed because they would like a concert of the entire group, others point out the rather unfortunate date, because the concert in Poland falls on the National Independence Day. Tickets for this event are still available.
On November 22, XDINARY HEROES, a rock band from JYP Entertainment, will perform at Progresja in Warsaw and it will be one of the biggest K-pop events in November. The six-person group debuted in December 2021 with the song “Happy Death Day”. As part of their “Break the Brake” world tour, they will perform in seven countries. On October 11, the band released their fourth mini-album “LIVELOCK” with the title single “Break the Brake”. The album contains a total of seven songs. Tickets for the concert are still available, but the cheapest lot has already sold out.
What else?
On November 26, Kisu will perform at Voodoo Club. For most Polish K-pop fans, especially those who have been listening to this genre of music for a while, he needs no introduction. Kisu was a member of the band 24K, which was more popular in Europe than in Korea. Kisu has already performed in Poland several times, both with a band and solo. This time he will return with a concert tour titled “Dal Segno”.
A day later – on November 27 – GEMINI will sing at the Hybrydy club in Warsaw as part of the “Still Blue Tour 2023”. The South Korean R&B artist debuted in 2020 with the single “Going”. On February 6, 2021, GEMINI released the single “Know me”, which reached the first place on the Viral 50 – Vietnam chart. Then, together with Jay Park, he recorded the song “Trip”, a collaboration with DAZED KOREA and Heron Preston. The artist’s first EP titled “Inside Out” featured: Seori, Kid Milli, Leellamarz, pH-1, CAMO and WOODZ.
On December 9, the girl group PIXY will perform in Hybrydy. As part of the “LAST NIGHT in the DARK CITY” tour, the band will play in 12 European countries. Warsaw will be the last stop on the route. PIXY debuted in 2021 with the album “Wings”. Their latest mini-album “CHOSEN KARMA” was released in March this year with the song “KARMA” promoting it. Tickets are still on sale, just like for Kisu and GEMINI.
