Brick by brick, Gabriel, a young graphic designer, began to recreate historical buildings in Minecraft so that anyone could know them. Thus he created inside and out the Cathedral of Burgos, Ciudad Real or the Alfajería Palace of Zaragoza.

It takes him and his team six months to finish each project. “What is most difficult for us are the vaults and arches, because Minecraft has no curves“, confesses Gabriel García, a graphic designer who together with María Fernández and Nora Pulido created ‘Minecrafteate’, a dissemination channel on YouTube.

One day they decided to use their talent to warn about heritage in danger, such as the church of Santiago Apostle in Villamorónin Burgos, a jewel that was destroyed inside.

Thanks to the video of Gabriel and his companions, so many people were interested that in two campaigns they have raised more than 40,000 euros for its restoration.
