American singer Sabrina Carpenter caused a scandal among the community of priests in Brooklyn. The artist decided to record a music video for her latest song in one of the local churches. The scenes she filmed in the temple froze the clergy, who immediately celebrated a special mass during which they poured holy water on the altar.

Recently, the artist recorded a music video for the song “Feather” from the latest album “Emails i can’t send”. Within 9 days, the recording was viewed nearly 6 million times, but its creation caused a scandal among the priests of the parish in Brooklyn, New York. Some of the scenes for the music video were shot in the church dedicated to the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The heroine of the music video goes to the temple, where in a short black dress (and a black veil) she dances on the altar among pink coffins, as well as colorful crosses and candles.

A dozen-second fragment of the music video caused confusion among , because they apparently did not expect the recording to be of this nature. According to the Daily Star, Bishop Robert Brennan decided to dismiss Monsignor Jamie Giantiello. He also released a statement saying: “The parish has not complied with diocesan policy regarding filming on church property, which includes scene and script review.”

Joseph Grimaldi took over as prelate and celebrated a special mass together with the bishop. During the service, the clergy poured holy water on the altar to restore its purity.
