Marc Anthony surprised the audience by changing the lyrics of the song that was originally dedicated to Jennifer Lopez, his ex-wife and the mother of his children Max and Emma.

Salsero, who married Paraguayan model Nadia Ferreira in January of this year, wanted to have a detail with his current partner and sang “Your love goes me good” with a special modification.

What changes did Marc Anthony make to his song?

In his original song, Marc Anthony included the phrase “Ay Lolita Linda, you are my treasure”, as a gentle way of addressing Jennifer Lopez, whom he called “Lola”.

However, in a gesture towards his current wife, he decided to change this sentence to “oh beautiful beauty, you are my treasure”, dedicating it to Nadia.

The song “Your love does me good” was originally written for Jennifer Lopez and premiered on September 12, 2005, according to El Comercio.

The same media points out that Nadia was in the front row during the concert and when she heard the song she became emotional. She expressed her love for Marc with a big smile, and he told her, “You’re driving me crazy,” back on stage.

This gesture shows that the artist wants to express his love and admiration for the former beauty queen, who became the mother of the singer’s seventh child last June.

Although Marc Anthony is very much in love with the model, he has yet to dedicate his own song to her, like he did with JLo. But everything seems to indicate that Nadia has taken this public display of love well, although her behavior lately suggests that her relationship with the “Bronx diva” would not be the best.

During a Vogue event in Mexico last October, Nadia avoided answering a question about JLo.

When the actress and singer were asked what their relationship was like, Ferreira simply replied, “Let’s move on, thank you” and continued on her way without giving any further details. This behavior raised doubts about their good relationship. (AND)
