However, there are two home remedies that will quickly bring relief by deeply nourishing and softening rough hands. You can already have the necessary ingredients at hand.

How to get rid of dry hands? A piece of one vegetable is enough

Many ingredients from kitchen cabinets can help with effective care. So if you struggle with rough, dry hands, reach for one popular vegetable. I’m talking about onions, of course. Peel a small piece and cut it in half. Massage the inside of the onion into your dry hands and rub the vegetable juice into your nails. It has a nourishing and softening effect, getting rid of rough dryness. It will also moisturize your hands, strengthen your nails and make them disappear quickly. Before using it for the first time, do an allergy test. If everything is fine, use it regularly when classic hand creams are not enough.

What to do with very dry hands? A homemade mask comes to the rescue

Once a week, it is also worth making a home mask that will nourish and moisturize the skin. You can easily prepare it with what you have in the kitchen. You will need a spoonful of honey. If it is thick, warm it up until it has a liquid consistency. Add a tablespoon of thick natural yogurt and a teaspoon of olive oil or other favorite oil, e.g. coconut or sweet almond oil, to the honey. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and then massage into your hands. You can protect them with food foil to enhance the moisturizing and nourishing effect. Keep this mask on your hands for 15 to 20 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Finally, you can massage in your favorite hand cream. Also here, perform an allergy test before first use.
