The band’s international career began in 2021, when they decided to take part in the 71st Italian Song Festival in San Remo. They performed the song “Zitti e buoni” on stage, creating a real sensation among the listeners and jurors. Thus, they became Italian representatives in the 65th final and strong contenders for victory. Their final performance electrified the audience and was rated at 524 points, including 318 points awarded to them by television viewers, making them the winners.
Then everything happened naturally. In the same year, Maneskin released the album “Teatro d’ira: Vol. I”, which went platinum just a week after its release. It included such hits as “I Wanna Be Your Slave” and “For Your Love”. The musicians also began to give regular concerts, including on the largest stages in Europe. In 2022, they were one of the stars of Open’er in Gdynia. And although several years have passed since their debut, each of their live performances still attracts real crowds.

Few know that the musicians’ first performances took place on the streets of Rome. Back then, they mainly sang covers of popular hits, but occasionally they also shared their own works. In 2017, Maneskin appeared at the auditions for the 11th edition of Italian. Originally dressed teenagers, most of them were not even adults at that time, presented their original song “Chosen” on stage, which amazed the jurors. Having received “yes” four times, they moved on to the next stage of the program. From episode to episode they gained more and more fans, defeating the remaining participants by storm. Ultimately, they reached the finals, where they took 2nd place. They decided to follow the trend and a few months later they released an EP with the same title as the first single. After a year of persistent work in the studio, they made their debut on the phonographic market with the album “lI ballo della vita”, which quickly went triple platinum.
