TVP stars do not want to leave the station. They are fighting for changes in contracts so that they will have a good life when they leave

The greatest propagandists of the so-called national media have probably never had better working conditions before. As Presserwis reports, TVP stars are aware that after the change of government they will be fired and now – while there is still time – they are fighting for new terms of notice. They are to be structured in such a way that generous remuneration will be credited to their account even for a year after dismissal. All this, of course, at the state’s expense.

In an interview with the portal, anonymous TVP Info employees stated directly that they had no doubt that there would be layoffs at the station. Some people hope that the change will only affect the biggest stars of TVP Info and the “Wiadomości” team on TVP1. – Someone will have to prepare and implement the programs – says the interlocutor. Interestingly, no one mentioned anything about “Panorama” on TVP2.

For their “hard work” they are guaranteed a soft landing. “It was promised before the elections”

Interviewees from TVP confirmed that talks are currently underway with the employer about annexes to contracts for the biggest stars of the so-called national media. TVP’s management is supposed to change the agreements and contracts under which they work for “TVP stars”, adding provisions on notice periods longer than standard.

One of the informants says that they are to be structured in such a way that those laid off will be able to receive remuneration for up to a year after leaving, regardless of whether they appear on the show and work on the programs.

Apparently, among the people whose contracts have already been improved are: Micha³ Adamczyk (director of TAI, ) and the hosts of flagship journalistic programs: Magdalena Ogórek, Jacek Łęski, Michał Rachoń and Miłosz Kłeczek.

It is interesting that none of the informants mentioned Danuta Holecka, who is the face of the so-called a good change introduced by PiS in the public media. At the beginning of 2016, the journalist with great joy for the Polish Television welcomed Jacek Kurski, who became the new head of TVP.

The Presserwis editorial office tried to contact the above-mentioned employees. However, none of the people responded to the contact. However, the TVP Information Center replied that “we are not aware of any such situation occurring in recent days.” As the portal’s interlocutor points out, however, this is not about the last few days, because changes in contracts began to be discussed just after the elections. – These positions were promised even before the elections – he sums up.
