For nearly 30 years, Sośnicka and Bajer’s lives focused on the development of her career. Her husband accompanied her on concert tours, together they created new songs and worked on albums. Eventually, living out of suitcases began to overwhelm them. The singer wanted to “put down roots” and find peace. She looked with regret at her friends who led quiet, family lives. – I was terribly jealous of people who were sitting with their families while I was going somewhere again – . This prompted the couple to make bold changes. In the mid-1990s, they decided to leave the housing estate in Stegny, Warsaw. They found the desired paradise in Konstancin, near the capital, where they bought a plot of land to build a house with a large garden.
With the changes in her private life, the singer slowed down professionally and began to carefully withdraw from show business. She knew that her most loyal fans would keep coming back to her songs. However, she was unable to live in constant rush and be in the spotlight. She focused on furnishing the house and arranging the garden. She quickly felt that this was her place on earth. – I am filled with peace, sitting in the garden and looking at the pines that reach to the sky. They stand on a cliff and are said to be ninety or one hundred years old. I’ve been living here for several years now, it’s my favorite place – and I’m proud of it. Even though it seemed that she had achieved everything, she did not feel fulfilled in every area of her life. She has always wanted to become a mother, but the pursuit of fame deprived her of realizing this dream, which she admits with pain today.
