John Travolta could play Forrest Gump. He resigned for a role with an aspiring director…

John Travolta has many iconic and appreciated roles, as well as many that would be better left unsaid. In the early 1990s, for example, he could have played the main role in “Forrest Gump”, but he preferred to play with a novice director named… Quentin Tarantino. There were more such cases, including Sean Connery, who lost a lot of money because he did not understand the script of “The Lord of the Rings”.

Al Pacino could have played in “Star Wars”, but he didn’t like the idea and the actor has been laughing for years that it was thanks to his refusal that Harrison Ford’s great career began. Michelle Pfeiffer also rejected a lot of interesting projects, and Tom Hanks really owes a lot to the fact that John Travolta either didn’t get or rejected various job offers. We talk more about it in the latest episode of “POPKultura”:

In this episode we also tell you what is worth reading. Britney Spears’ official autobiography is quite a treat, and the book is now available in Polish translation. It is also worth paying attention to what Jakub ¯ulczyk and Professor Bralczyk have prepared for us.

Some fear the end of the world, others can’t wait for the dawn of a new, wonderful future,” we read in the synopsis of the film, which has a very international cast. The French-German drama “Passages” will also be released in Polish cinemas. It tells the story of two men who spent 15 years together. Everything changes when one of them suddenly falls in love with a woman.
