They discovered fresh flowers on the graves, so they were sure that the woman had kept her promise, but something bad must have happened on the way back. They informed the police. The officers found the woman’s bicycle, but there was no trace of Klara.

The body was found near the tracks. Leszek Pękalski was suspected of the crime

After two months, the missing woman’s brother, Roman, went along the narrow-gauge railway tracks. His sister’s friend told him that she smelled a strange smell nearby, like a dead body. To this day, it is not known who took the kindergarten teacher’s life.
