In 2021, Marshall Bruce Mathers III, actually, in cooperation with the Union Joints chain, opened the “Mom’s Spaghetti” restaurant in Detroit. The main dish sold in the restaurant is, of course, spaghetti, served with meatballs (and in a vegan version) and a unique sauce “like from a jar”. On the opening day, fans were greeted by Eminem himself at the serving window.

“Lose Yourself”: Eminem rapped about “mom’s spaghetti” in 2002
The name is, of course, a reference to the iconic first lines of the song “Lose Yourself”, from the soundtrack to the film “8 Mile”. It was the first hip-hop song to win an Oscar, dominated the charts and today is one of the most famous songs recorded by Eminem. In the first verse of “Lose Yourself” he raps:
His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy / There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti
A dozen or so years later, the phrase “mom’s spaghetti”, as well as the song itself, gained a second youth. All thanks to younger listeners and Internet users who turned “mom’s spaghetti” into a meme.
Eminem first opened a restaurant, and now he has entered the food industry. The product is already sold out
Now he has gone a step further and decided to expand his catering business to also include the sale of ready-made meals. Through the website momsspaghetti.com, he started selling the iconic spaghetti sauce in jars, previously available only in the mentioned restaurant.

Unfortunately, both versions of the sauces were completely sold out after just 3 days from the start of sales.
