Zoja and Janusz Gajos met in circumstances that seem not conducive to the flowering of love. After an accident on the set of “Cztere pancerni…”, he was hospitalized for a month. There he met a laboratory technician, Zoja, and shortly after he recovered, they decided to get married. The prose of life turned out to be fatal to their love. Gajos led an intense professional life, and Zoja was fed up with waiting for her husband, who spends most of his time on film sets, traveling and working. it finally ended after three years, which was also influenced by Zoja’s affair with Andrzej Herder, Gajos’s friend from the theater.

But it’s better to break up than to box for years – the actor after many years. In 1978, the actor met Barbara Nabiałczyk, who quickly caught his eye. At that time, however, she was in a relationship with actor Tadeusz Borowski. But regular meetings at Olga Lipińska’s cabaret, as well as consistent adoration, meant that Nabiałczyk and Gajos soon got married. – For the first time in my life I fought for a woman – admitted Gajos in one of the interviews.

In 1980, their daughter, Agata, was born. However, this relationship quickly began to deteriorate. They divorced after six years. – My parents lived like dogs and cats, but they did not involve me in it – recalled Agata Gajos in the “Kung Fu” and “Yellow Scarf” star, however, he met Elżbieta Brożek at a difficult moment in his life. She also had a failed marriage.

It was 1989, and Gajos was working at the Stary Theater in Krakow. – I wanted to invite him to a meeting. After the performance, I went to his dressing room and received his phone number – Elżbieta. She was extremely stubborn and called him dozens of times before she managed to invite him to a meeting. For some time, Gajos excused himself, explaining that he didn’t have time. – I went to Krakow and bought roses at the station. It was the best decision of my life – . As he sometimes jokes, he’s lucky four times. He got into drama school only on his fourth attempt. And the fourth wife turned out to be the one. They have been married for over 30 years.
