The folk-pop band Kwiat Jabłoni was officially established in 2018 and is composed of the children of Kuba Sienkiewicz from the band Elektryczne Gitary. Since then, the group has managed to release four studio albums, including the latest album entitled “Slideshow” debuted less than two weeks ago. The single promoting the release “Od Nowa” achieved extremely great success and is the first song of the band to conquer the charts of mainstream radio stations.
Kwiat Jabłoni prefers Pol’and’Rock Festival to Christian festivals
Some time ago, Kasia and Jacek gave an interview in which they explained a certain issue. It’s about the label of an “oasis” band that was assigned to them at the beginning of their career. Now it turns out that young artists did not want to be perceived as “pilgrims”, but they still received many offers to give concerts in churches or at Christian music festivals.
It is true that Kasia Sienkiewicz once mentioned that they once had the opportunity to perform for a group of very religious scouts. However, over time, when their career gained momentum, they decided that they would not want to appear in events related to their religion. The band’s vocalist said: “We don’t identify with this religion either.”
Of course, initially such proposals kept coming, but Apple Blossom successively refused to take part in them. They didn’t want to be labeled an “oasis” band, and over time they managed to slowly make this kind of thinking about their band disappear. The musicians also admitted that this year they do not plan to play concerts where Christmas carols are sung.
