Grażyna Szapołowska’s granddaughter follows in her footsteps
Karolina Matej is 23 years old and the daughter of Katarzyna Jungowska, also, like Grażyna Szapołowska, an actress. Therefore, it should not be surprising that Karolina also follows in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother. She recently graduated from the Warsaw Film School. The aspiring actress has already had several minor roles. She could be seen, among others, in “Na Wspólnej”, “Akademik” or “Friday. Don’t go away!”.
Grażyna Szapołowska is proud of her granddaughter and supports her in every endeavor. As she says, she treats her like her own daughter:
My daughter became a mother at an early age. It was as if I had two children. It seemed to me that I had to manage them – said Grażyna Szapołowska about Karolina.
This is also confirmed by Karolina herself, saying in an interview with TVP: “I have a very good relationship with my grandmother. I would even dare to say that maybe a little better than with my mother.”
Karolina Matej also tries her hand at music. He has appeared on breakfast TV, has several songs on YouTube and appeared in “The Voice of Poland”.
Grandma really likes listening to me sing. She even has a piano that she recently tuned. He tells me to come play and sing for the whole house – said Karolina before the performance in “The Voice”.
Unfortunately, her performance did not impress the jurors and the aspiring actress and singer did not advance to the next stage of the program.
