Ewa Wyszomirska, a famous actress and puppeteer, has died. The artist was the daughter of Bronis³aw Kossakowski, she played on the stage of Opole theaters for years, she could also be seen in many Polish series.

The Kochanowski Theater in Opole announced the death of Ewa Wyszomirska via social media. “An outstanding actress, a puppeteer associated with the theater since childhood, has passed away,” we read in the entry about the deceased artist. “We express our deep condolences to her family, friends and loved ones. Her acting talent lit up the stage and left indelible marks in our hearts,” add the theater employees. No information about the cause of death was provided.

The Ekostudio Theater also said goodbye to the artist. “She came from a theater family and created a theater family herself. Theater was her life,” Wyszomirska’s friends recall. In the theater, the actress played the role of a hostess in the play “Wesele”, she played Dominikowa in “The Peasants”, Juli’s Mother in “Rajmund i Julka” and Duchess Magdalena in “Mikołaj II, or the story of the death of the Prince of Opole”.

Ewa Wyszomirska was born in 1943 and made her debut in the theater at the age of 24. She received a distinction for the role of Janina Węgorzewska in Witkacy’s “Mother” at the Teatr im. Kochanowski in Opole at the 26th Opole Theater Confrontations and the medal “For services to the Opole Voivodeship”. She was an actress and a puppeteer. At the beginning of her career, she performed in the Puppet Theater at the Teatr Ziemi Opoleskiej in Opole, then she moved to the Opole Puppet and Actor Theater. Smolki. In 1989, she joined the team of the Theater. Kochanowski in Opole, where she worked until 2019. The actress could also be seen many times on the stages of the Ekostudio Theater in Opole and the Municipal Theater in Gliwice.

She played in Polish series such as “The World According to the Kiepskich”, “The 13th Precinct”, “Crime Wave”, “First Love”, “License to Raise” and “Murder Commission”. Wyszomirska was the daughter of actor Bronisław Kossakowski.
