“live” is like Schrödinger’s cat – it is still on the TV program for next Sunday, but looking at the last two weeks, no one has any doubts that it will suddenly disappear. His wife, Monika Sobień-Górska, has a similar opinion. The author was a guest in the “Onet Rano” program. She admitted that recordings for the next episode of “Cabaret Live” are taking place on Thursday.
“Cabaret Live” is still being created. Will it be aired?
In “Onet Rano” Monika Sobień-Górska revealed that Robert Górski will shoot another episode of “Cabaret Live” regardless of whether the show will be broadcast on Polsat. Recordings take place every Thursday, but Polsat recently announced the cancellation of the broadcast only the next day, after the work had been completed.
He’s going to record it today. This is sad, because today at 8 p.m. at the Atlantic cinema I have the official premiere of the film “Fear”, for which I wrote the script, and I would like my husband to go with me, but he can only come there for a moment, because he will be recording a program that will probably will not be published – said Soboń-Górska.
Polsat does not only not explain to viewers why cabarets suddenly disappear from the air. , which are given to them in an economical form:
We were informed about the change in the Sunday broadcast (October 22) on Friday afternoon. No reasons were given – said Wojciech Orszulak, manager of the Kabaret Moranych Niepokoju group, in an interview with Kultura.gazeta.pl.
Olga Polny:
The station sends us short, laconic and ambiguous answers through its employees, without informing us about the reasons for not broadcasting the program. All decisions of the station are made without us, we are not consulted and no talks are held with us – she said a few days ago.
Robert Górski’s wife is looking for reasons for removing cabarets from Polsat
Monika Soboń-Górska also said in an interview with Onet that removing cabarets from Polsat is a strange political decision. It cannot be a financial decision, because cabarets themselves – as Robert Górski said recently – are extremely cheap to produce compared to other programs. The artist gave the example of “Temptation Island”, a dating show that turned out to be an absolute failure – but was also quite expensive to produce because it required taking the entire crew and participants to a resort in Greece. Soboń-Górska mentioned money:
I guess it’s hard to say it’s not political when you download a show that’s a hit and that makes the most money. And it is downloaded without first talking to the authors of this program, without informing them. In my opinion, this is a political decision and so do many people working on this program, but we will see what effect it will have. Perhaps Polsat will no longer have cabarets, she said.
