The afternoon is warm and clear. Rosanna Queirolo, an excellent business woman, welcomes us with an open smile and eyes full of life. Six months have passed since the date that changed his life. “It’s been six months since April 25,” he begins, “that day that seemed like yesterday.” That date marked a before and after, a challenge and a test of strength and determination.
Journey from Rosanna To operate on her left hip, he took her to Stanford, California, far from Ecuador, her home. “I was there for two and a half months, and the truth is that I couldn’t have asked God for more,” he expresses moved. Her gratitude is palpable, not only to the deity, but also to the people who have shown care and affection towards her. Expressions of love and prayers filled her with energy. It’s clear that constant support has been crucial in his recovery from a bone-wearing fall he suffered 15 years ago.
Although the journey was not fast, Rosanna points out that its development has exceeded expectations. “I’m over 95%…successful,” he says, referring to what his doctor told him. Now pain-free and making steady progress, the entrepreneur began to resume her daily and physical activities, although still with certain restrictions.

“My everyday life is exactly the same,” he says. However, you should still be careful with some activities, such as running on hard surfaces and lifting heavy loads on your shoulders. The doctor urged him to be patient, especially because he knows his passion for sports. But Rosanna is optimistic and hopes to be fully discharged by June next year.
But his experience at Stanford is not just medical. It is also the place where their children study. One of them recently completed his MBA and the other is about to graduate. The decision to choose Stanford over New York, where another of her daughters lives, was deliberate. “I felt like it was a warmer, calmer place,” he explains. Her priority was recovery in a peaceful environment and with the support of her family.
After spending time with her family and already in Ecuador with her husband, the entrepreneur knew how to adapt, finding joy in visiting them and meeting on special occasions despite the distance from her four children, who live abroad. This year, for example, the Christmas celebrations will have a different stamp: they will gather outside the country.
Rosanna’s family is not just her own children. Her husband brings two daughters to the clan, making six in total, all scattered around the world. Despite the distance, the family bond remains strong and steadfast.
While we were talking about family, Rosanna couldn’t help but mention another great passion of hers: the chain of restaurants, Gourmet market. Just before celebrating its 11th anniversary, this project was a source of pride and joy. With four locations at strategic points in the city, Gourmet Market has become a family haven for many, offering everything from iconic dishes to healthier options, such as its line of ice cream. Sanna, a tribute to his name. These ice creams not only promise to be delicious, they are also vegan, gluten and sugar free.
The entrepreneur exclusively shares with us her journey into the world of healthy ice cream. Together with Aldo Faidutti, winner of the award for the best artisanal ice cream in the world in 2010, he founded this line of sugar-free ice cream seven years ago. The inspiration came from her own experience with sugar addiction and gluten intolerance that she discovered in her life.
Currently, Sanna launched three new vegan flavors on the market: coconut passion fruit, chocolate mint and double pistachio. These products contain no added sugar or gluten, making them suitable for a wide audience, including diabetics and people with food allergies.
Rosanna speaks to us with deep conviction about her role as a longevity coach and the importance of eliminating sugar from the diet for a healthy life. In addition, he pointed out the toxicity of gluten and how he significantly improved his health and well-being by removing it from his diet.
“When I gave up gluten, I also gave up sugar and that’s when I started to feel a lot better. I had more energy, my skin changed, I lost weight. I was never fat, but I lost weight, I felt straight, beautiful, not in pieces, not swollen, inflamed. And I said I was going here, right?”, he says while enjoying a glass of ice cream.
Looking like this at 55 requires other sacrifices that she now shares as advice: sleep early, don’t drink alcohol, don’t stay up late, get oxytocin from family and friends, and exercise every day 6 to 7 days a week, two hours to date.

Rosanna also shared her experience in educating herself in different branches of training, including hormone training and sports nutrition. With this knowledge, he founded his own academy, Rejuvenateswith the aim of helping women lead a full and balanced life.
Despite her success and the large community that supports her, Rosanna also tells us about the dark side of fame: toxicity on social media. Although she has faced criticism, she maintains a positive attitude and continues her mission to help and educate others about the importance of healthy living.
“Today I think I am in the best phase of my life. “I am happy with my jobs, with my community, with my husband and my children who are successful abroad,” she says. Yes, it is difficult as a business woman to follow the situation of insecurity that Ecuador is going through, but she believes that better days are coming. “Grateful, happy, just a little nervous because of the uncertain situation. Yes, but these weeks, since the new presidency, I feel that my peace has returned. I hope he stays.”
After all, the businesswoman plans to launch a new course next year and encourages everyone to seek a more fulfilling life, away from toxins, both nutritional and social. (AND)
