Last Friday, he decided to suddenly change the Sunday schedule. Like every week, in the evening at 8 p.m., viewers were to see “Cabaret Live. Young and Moral”. The artists appearing in the skits themselves encouraged people to turn on their TVs and watch their videos recorded during the work week. However, on Friday evening they received information that the broadcast had been canceled.
that the change happened suddenly and without any explanation. Instead of “Cabaret Live”, a thriller film with Jeff Bridges “RIPD” was shown. Wyborcza.pl managed to contact Polsat’s spokesman, who said briefly: “If we have anything to say on this matter, we will let you know.” However, the second group co-creating performances under the banner of “Młodzi i Moralni” – Kabaret Moranych Niepokoju – spoke to us.
“Cabaret live” on Polsat. Cabaret of Moral Anxiety is concerned
We asked the manager of Kabaret Moralny Niepokoju to comment on Polsat’s activities. Just like the Young Gentlemen Cabaret, this group of artists also found out about the change in schedule at the last moment and without any instructions:
At the moment, we do not know what Polsat TV’s plans are to broadcast further episodes of the “Kabaret na Żywo” program. We hope to learn about these plans soon. We were informed about the change in the Sunday broadcast (October 22) on Friday afternoon. No reasons were given – Wojciech Orszulak tells us.
. However, this was explained by ensuring the fairness of the election campaign. Just before the elections, in an interview with Plejada, a Polsat employee said directly: “It turned out that cabarets do have a huge influence on politics. On Tuesday night, almost all seasons of ‘Cabaret na Żywo’ were removed from Polsat platforms, and the Facebook channel was also wiped clean until May”.
However, the elections were over a week ago, and the cabarets – as they were canceled on election day – . “The skits scheduled for Sunday did not contain any more controversial content than those previously broadcast in the KnŻ program,” the manager of Kabaret Moralny Niepokoju tells us.
In the program for the next two Sundays, the cabaret at 8 p.m. is still on Polsat’s schedule. Whether it will suddenly disappear is still unknown.
