The singer Alejandro Sanz He has been declared in absentia by the Spanish justice system. According to ‘LOC’, Sanz has not paid three million euros of debt.

The Court of First Instance No. 47 of Madrid has not been able to notify you this situation being impossible to locate the artistwhich has forced one of its companies, Alkazul SL, to declare default.

Two years ago, Judge María del Rocío Montes decreed the execution of a sentence issued against the artist by the Miami Court, which condemned him to pay these three million. The origin of the controversy comes from the purchase by Sanz of two properties for which he paid seven million dollars.

To finance the operation, Total Bank granted him several loans that were later granted to the company Gazul Producciones, SLU, which has missed the deadline to oppose the ruling, as well as to Music of Wheels, LLC. As collateral, the singer added another company, Alja Productions, LLC, and a farm in Miami.

According to the aforementioned media, Sanz stopped paying these loans, which Total Bank had in turn transferred to the investment fund SHEDDF2. This fund launched a foreclosure process to acquire the properties and sell them in 2019. The artist’s companies did not respond to the lawsuit and were also declared in default by the Miami-Dade County Court.

The mortgage foreclosure process continued and the American Justice recognized a debt on the part of Sanz de almost 12 million dollars. The investment fund managed to sell the properties for 9.4 million dollarswith a new ruling that claimed to recognize the remaining amount for the artist.
