“It was a hugely new experience for me. I felt that this was a very important project for Magda, with which she had been associated for many years. That the director, Jan Kidawa-Błoński, was a really important person in her life. And I entered this world. Fortunately, I was warmly welcomed by everyone and I felt a real film atmosphere there. It was a truly perfect film set,” admitted Banasiuk.
In turn, in an interview with PAP Life, Boczarska admitted that although she had not yet had a chance to star in one film with her partner, they were both still waiting for this moment. When they finally succeeded, it turned out that their relationship would be very different from the one they had on a daily basis.
“It was different to create a relationship in which she is my boss and I am her subordinate. These are completely different relationships than the ones we have every day. It was a completely different experience for me, but certainly enriching,” added Banasiuk.
