The Dragon falls in love with the Donkey, but ends up chained to a chandelier while the other three heroes hastily leave the gloomy castle.

However, this is not the end of this thread. It is not entirely clear how, but he manages to free himself from the bondage and accidentally comes across a despairing Donkey in the forest. Sparks begin to fly between these two. When Fiona marries Lord Farquaad, it is the dragon who helps the ogre free the princess from this wrong decision by eating her husband.
