“My relationship with Andrea Giambruno ends here”the Italian Prime Minister announced Giorgio Meloni on his social networks, with a message in which he described the past years as “great” and thanked him for giving him “the most important thing”, the daughter they both have, who is now seven years old.

The trigger for breaking the relationship was the discovery in Italy of luscious pictures with sexist and sexual statements of his partner Andrea Giambruno (42).

“My relationship with Andrea Giambrun, which lasted almost ten years, has ended (…) Our paths have diverged for a while and it’s time to realize it,” wrote the 46-year-old presenter in a message on social networks, with a picture of the family.

“I thank you for the wonderful years we spent together, the difficulties we faced and for giving me the most important thing in my life, our daughter Ginevra,” he added.

The comments were broadcast on Tuesday and Thursday in a satirical program on the Canale 5 network, also part of the Mediaset group, where he also works, and which belongs to the Berlusconi family.

In the recording published on Thursday, the journalist says to a colleague: “What’s your name? Do we know each other? Where have I seen you before? Was I drunk?”

And then he continues: “How, dear? Do you know that me and XXX (name redacted) are in a relationship? Everyone at Mediaset knows it, and now you too. But we are looking for a third participant. Do you want to be part of our working group? Would you like to”.

At the end of August, a journalist who has a news program had an intervention on television in which he said: “If you go dancing, you have every right to get drunk – there should be no misunderstanding – but, if you avoid getting drunk and passing out, you may also avoid certain problems” because “otherwise the wolf risks finding you,” he said during the broadcast of the Diario del Día program, on the Rete 4 channel, El Mundo points out.

In another, more explicit recording, broadcast on Thursday in Italian media, Giambruno can be heard bragging about the affair and telling female colleagues that they can work for him if they participate in group sex.
