In the latest single promoting the album “Cziecka Pop” (“Supro”) she sings: “I fell in love again for the first time.” – I think it’s just a nice metaphor that says that when we fall in love, sometimes we feel it as strongly as the first time – he says and adds: “I fell in love like that once.”
Daria Zawiałow: In the studio, I create completely uncompromisingly
Daria Zawiałow created her fourth album with producer Bartek Dziedzic, with whom she had already met while creating “I tani too”. This song, sung with her by Vito Bambino and Dawid Podsiad³o, was awarded the Fryderyk in the song of the year category. In an interview with Gazeta.pl, the singer talks about working on the concept album “Pop Girl” and admits that in the studio she creates “totally uncompromising”. – The only thing that matters there is what I think and what the producer thinks – he says. We also talk, among others: about her appearance in the program “From Kindergarten to Opole”, in which she appeared as a seven-year-old, and about her decision to move to Warsaw on her own after junior high school. As her mother and grandmother told her, she fell in love with the capital when she was four. Now, when she thinks about building a house, she can’t imagine living anywhere else. – Warsaw is my city, always number one – says the singer.
“Pop Girl” is a concept album inspired by the United States and Zawiałow’s favorite bands, including: from the 1990s. It was released on October 20 in three visual versions. It is promoted by four singles: “Fifi Hollywood”, “Broken heart is OK”. “With you in the chat” and “Supro”. In the latter, Zawiałow sings with Taco Hemingway.
