Daria Zawia³ow returns on October 20 with her fourth studio album, titled “Pop Girl”. On the occasion of the album’s premiere, we asked the singer how she recalled her appearance in the program “From Kindergarten to Opole”, in which she appeared as a seven-year-old.

The first episode of “From Kindergarten to Opole”, a show hosted by Michał Juszczakiewicz, was shown on TVP on February 19, 1995, and the last one appeared on May 26, 2007. Over the course of 12 years, hundreds of children sang Polish songs, and the program itself was very popular. Among the participants were also today’s stars, such as Sylwia Grzeszczak, Natalia Szroeder and Daria Zawiałow.

Interestingly, in 2000, when Daria Zawiałow appeared in “From Kindergarten to Opole”, there was no question that she would connect her future with music. – Daria is in first grade. When she grows up, she will become an actress or a model – Juszczakiewicz introduced the seven-year-old. Zawiałow sang the song “Rzeka”, and years later the video of her performance is recalled on the Internet from time to time. The singer herself said in an interview with Gazeta.pl that although she did not remember many details very well, one thing was deeply embedded in her memory. Watch the video:

Daria Zawiałow with a new album. “Pop Girl” premieres on October 20

The album “Pop Girl” is released on October 20. The album was created in cooperation with Bartosz Dziedzic – the producer responsible for such albums as “Granda” by Brodka or “Małomiasteczkowy” by Dawid Podsiadło. Zawiałow and Dziedzic worked together for the first time on the song “I tani too” (also sung by Dawid Podsiadło and Vito Bambino), which won the Fryderyk for song of the year in 2002.

At the same gala, Zawiałow also received statuettes for artist of the year and in the composer/composer/composing team of the year category, which she won together with Michał Kush.
