Although Maya’s upbringing and life have been kept under wraps since the violent departure of her parents, recently her Instagram account (run by her adoptive parents) began to constantly share details about her.

The last one was an exclusive interview with Luis Olavarrieta, available on his YouTube channel, in which the young woman shared her story for the first time in front of the cameras.

In this conversation, Maya revealed that she feels safe and happy in solitude. “I’ve always looked for a way to study alone, in another country, where I can enjoy life peacefully, without all this pressure.”

He stated that there are times when he understands his adoptive father very well. “We have humor between us who understand each other,” mentioned in this interview. While he said of his adoptive mother, “She’s very cool, she has a brutal, loving personality.”

The young Venezuelan mentioned that she dreams of making films. “I have some ideas because I like them. (Also) write, I want to write a few books and paint,” He said.

Her adoptive mother described the young woman as a sweet, sensitive, compassionate and caring person. “She listens a lot, she pays attention to what is happening around her, she is compassionate, she is a very good girl.”

The young woman is currently staying with her family in Mexico, but does not rule out returning to Venezuela. (AND)
