For many, yesterday evening was one of the most exciting in the history of Poland after 1989. One of such people was certainly someone who decided to stand at the entrance to TVP Info with boxes signed with the phrases “Pakuj się Holecka”, “Haters from TVPiS, pack up” and “We don’t want you”. Their photo was published by Mariusz Szczygieł, who added a blunt comment to it.

The exit poll published on Sunday at 9 p.m. caused a lot of emotions. According to him, although PiS wins the 2023 parliamentary elections with a result of 36.8%, more seats go to the democratic opposition (KO, Trzecia Droga, Left), which won a total of 248 seats. This is much more than the minimum majority needed in the Sejm: 231 seats.

Then, many Internet users began to comment on the situation on TVP, which in their opinion should change as soon as possible. However, there was someone who decided to deliver a physical message to national media employees much earlier.

“Someone placed such boxes the day before yesterday evening at the entrance to TVP Info. I congratulate the perpetrator on his insight, knowledge of Poland and courage,” wrote Mariusz Szczygie³ in an Instagram post. The reporter posted photos of boxes signed “Pakuj się Holecka”, “Haters from TVPiS, pack up” and “We don’t want you”.

There was an uproar in the comments under the post. People eagerly shared their observations about the condition of the so-called national media. “I’m watching TVP right now. One host [powiedział – przyp. red.] to the opposition representative: ‘Please note that I didn’t even interrupt you'”, “The cardboard boxes are always spectacular”, “Apparently Mrs. Holecka is already looking for a job”, “This last Sunday…”, “There is a chance to rebuild a happy Poland” – this is what some of them sound like.
