During this exceptional time, it is worth paying attention to proper waste segregation. We advise where to throw away used inserts and in what container to place artificial flowers.
Where do we throw candles? The answer is not that simple
Contrary to appearances, it is not that simple. It would seem that a glass candle should be placed in a glass container, but it is worth remembering that a candle is not only glass, but also the elements inside, i.e. a plastic insert, as well as melted paraffin or oil. Therefore, heavily dirty glass candles should not be placed in the yellow container, but in mixed waste. In turn, electric candles and their accumulators and batteries should be handed over to the local Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point or an e-waste container. This is adjustable. For throwing electronic waste into the wrong container, we can be fined up to PLN 5,000. zloty.

We throw away natural flowers into biodegradable ones. We can also use them for our own compost, but artificial flowers can be problematic because they contain many elements made of different materials. If they consist only of plastic, we place them in the yellow container, of course. If they have elements made of fabric or string, it is better to throw them into mixed waste.
