In the last episode of the “Tak to lecio” program, Sławomir and Kajra’s guest included Paweł Nowak. Viewers of the first talent shows in Poland certainly remember the singer from “”. The 16-year-old still sings, but he has found his own style and it is difficult to recognize him as a finalist of the once popular program.
Paweł Nowak was a finalist of “Idol”. Appeared in “That’s How It Goes”
Today Paweł is 37 years old and lives in Tomaszów Mazowiecki. In the program, he said that he had been singing since he was a child, but it was thanks to the popular talent show that he gained popularity. Currently, Nowak performs in a group that performs covers of the band Toto. In addition to music, the artist is also interested in perfumes. “I’m surrounded by smells,” says the participant. “That’s how it went.”
The singer admitted that he was a bit nervous about the performance. At the beginning he performed the hit De Mono. He sang “Like Ships in the Sky” and easily completed the four missing words. Nevertheless, the player wanted to make sure that the first word of the verse he had to sing without the aid of a prompter was actually correct. When it turned green, the slogan “That’s how it went!” was said. The correct answer resulted in the selection of the next category.
After 20 years, Paweł Nowak sang “The Name of the Rain” again
Paweł Nowak also coped with the song “Za short sen” by Daria Zawiałow and Dawid Podsiadło. Then he performed “If not us, who?” Frost. The participant of the program also completed this well-known hit without any major problems. “Always where you are” Lady Pank, in turn, brought Paweł a guaranteed sum of five thousand zlotys.
The player also sang “All Saints’ Ball” by Budka Suflera. The hit caused him some problems, but in this case he also managed to correctly complete the missing words of the verse. Then the audience heard “Winged Hands” by Enej and “The Name of Rain” by Andrzej Piaseczny. In the case of the second song, the choice was obvious, on YouTube you can find Paweł’s version of the song from the “Idol” times. So it’s no surprise that the missing words turned green again.
Jan Kiepura’s “Brunettes, Blondes” interrupted the singer’s good streak. Paweł Nowak asked his prompter for help, but the participant’s teammate also threw up her hands. The player left the program with PLN 15,000.
