The entire family’s life was turned upside down. She couldn’t start treatment then because it would threaten not only the health but also the life of the child. Although specialists suggested various solutions, she decided to undergo therapy only after giving birth.
When her long-awaited daughter, Barbara, was born, she immediately underwent surgery and then chemotherapy. However, the cancer turned out to be stronger than expected, and the treatment did not bring any results. The disease progressed and her body was exhausted by huge doses of drugs that gave her no relief. Finally, in February 2017, she decided to end treatment. She knew there was no hope for her anymore. She died 7 months later, on September 30, 2017, at the age of 39.
