They had a clever plan at TVP. For Monday’s edition of the “Guest News” program, i.e. the day after the anti-government Million Hearts March, the TVP Info authorities decided to organize an interview with the president of PiS, Jarosław Kaczyński. However, the conversation did not take place in a television studio, but in a specially arranged office in the Prime Minister’s Chancellery.
Monday’s conversation with Kaczyński is part of the election race with the opposition
The biggest star of TVP1’s “Wiadomości” appeared as the host, Danuta Holecka, who had a very nice conversation with the president of the ruling party. She never once argued with a politician, and the main topics of the conversation were PiS campaign topics, i.e. the anti-immigration and anti-EU narrative.
The issue of migrants was raised, which will be debated by the European Parliament in the near future. Jarosław Kaczyński did not fail to warn viewers about the impending threat (in his opinion) because of this. He also stated that PiS would defend Poland’s interests.
Currently, plans are being presented in the European Union that essentially amount to states losing their sovereignty. We have never agreed to this and we will not agree to it, said Kaczyński.
The president of the ruling party also attacked the West, which in his opinion pursued a migration policy full of mistakes. He also started talking about a family reunification policy that would allegedly bring millions of migrants to our country. Kaczyński, of course, did not mention a word about the visa scandal, which resulted in up to 250,000 migrants could enter Poland and the entire European Union.

The anti-EU tone of Holecka’s conversation with Kaczyński was also perfectly combined with the interior of the Chancellery, which lacked EU flags. Only Polish flags were visible. However, it is worth mentioning that during government meetings or press conferences, the European Union flag is usually displayed in this place.
Many viewers point out that the lack of EU accents during Jarosław Kaczyński’s interview on TVP Info was not accidental. Although the president himself denied that his party wanted to take Poland out of the EU, the public understood the meaning of this conversation in a completely different way.
