Anna Przybylska on the last recording. “I can’t be with you”

Soon it will be nine years since the death of Anna Przybylska. The actress died after a battle with pancreatic cancer in 2014, but one of her last recordings is still available online.

she died of cancer on October 5, 2014. She was only 35 years old and her death shocked Poland. She orphaned three children – the oldest Oliwia is already an adult and the youngest Janek was only three years old at the time of her death.

The last recording of the actress, made a few months before her death, is still available on the Internet. By then Przybylska was feeling very bad.

The last recording with Anna Przybylska

The recording was made in February 2014. Anna Przybylska was to receive the “Most Beautiful 2013” award, which she won in the “Viva! Most Beautiful” plebiscite. Unfortunately, the actress did not attend the gala due to her health condition. However, she recorded a special video of thanks for the fans and those gathered, for which she prepared in a unique way.

Przybylska was very protective of her privacy and although she did not attend the gala, she recorded her thanks in her hotel room. In this way, she protected her private space at home.

Our “Most Beautiful 2013” couldn’t be with us. But I know that this award gave her great pleasure – announced Przybylska, the host of the gala.

When the actress appeared on the big screen, the hall was filled with applause.

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, good evening, Piotr. Can you move away from the stage a little now? Of course, I congratulate you on your win, I think you absolutely deserve this award, if only because you have shapely legs. I know, I saw it.

And now, seriously. Before I thank you for my win, I would like to share with you my reflection that this plebiscite is a bit incomprehensible to me, because it is difficult to compare people from different industries. I mean athletes, journalists, actors, presenters… I always wonder what guides you when you vote in the plebiscite. And I think the common denominator is that it is, above all, an expression of great respect and sympathy. And I would like to thank you very much for this respect and sympathy.

I’m a little sorry and sad that I can’t be with you, that I can’t hug Piotr in such a personal way, but I do it mentally and from a distance. PiotruĊ›, I have an urgent request for you to collect my statuette as well. Thank you very much – she finished with a smile.

It was only years later that the behind-the-scenes of this recording came to light. Anna Przybylska’s manager revealed that the actress was already feeling very bad. “She took strong painkillers, but she still preferred to go outside rather than let the crew into the house. She defended her oasis of privacy until the end,” she said in an interview with “Party”.
