This is the typical costume that Miss Ecuador 2021 will wear in the Miss Universe pageant

The beautiful Susy Sacoto, Miss Ecuador 2021, wore an impressive typical costume for her participation in the contest with which she will represent the country in the Miss Universe 2021 pageant, which will take place this weekend in Israel.

Susy’s costume is about Pachamama. For its creator Jefferson Vera, Pachamama is the goddess of fertility, who is worshiped by the Andes. “I love because Miss Universe this year is quite focused on environmental care and my suit coincides with being that it is zero animal abuse,” said Susy Sacoto days ago.

It is made entirely with organic materials, it has five types of dried bananas that are extracted from Manabí, it has wooden decorations, it has dried coconut, it also has nupis, which are seeds treated in such a way that when they collide with each other they generate a sound.

And the Ecuadorian representative Amar Pacheco, who is already in Puerto Rico for the Miss World contest that will take place on December 16, will also wear a suit designed by the Manabi Muñoz.

Costumes inspired by the Pachamama

Last August, when a stage of the local election was completed, the 20 candidates for the crown of the national contest paraded the creations of Ecuadorian designers to choose the dresses that speak of our country in the international beauty event.

The Miss Ecuador organization awarded designer Jefferson Vera for his costume called “Pachamama the art of the Mother Goddess” as the winner of $ 1,500 for first place. The participant Verónica Mora was in charge of wearing it on the catwalk, including an interpretation that delighted the jury.

Likewise, a second place was awarded to the Emerald designer Benjamin Mafaré, who obtained $ 1,000, and a third place to Andrea Segarra from Cuenca with a prize of $ 500. Although very festive, the costume of the current Miss Ecuador Susy Sacoto did not obtain any award in said presentation. (E)
