With the clear goal of eliminating violence, theft, rape and addiction that plague the streets of Guayaquil The Love that Covers Foundation carries out a social pastoral activity. This nonprofit organization has set itself the noble mission of rescuing vulnerable souls from the sidewalks and providing them with more than just a shelter: a decent home, spiritual and psychological support, and tools to undertake and restore their dignity.
The House Home Works of Mercy, located at 3103 10th Street and Alcedo, is not just any building, but home to 52 beneficiaries ranging from newborns to abandoned seniors, including youth affected by drug addiction. This initiative not only provides a roof, but prioritizes individualized care based on the needs of each individual. However, with the growing demand from people needing your help, there is an urgent need to expand your capacity and acquire a new physical space.
To meet this challenge, the foundation organized the show Concert in the key of faith: a song of solidarity, taking place on October 7, 2023 at the Eloy Alfaro Civic Center theater at 6:00 PM. This event promises to be not only an evening full of entertainment, but also a call for solidarity and involvement with the less fortunate.
National talent is present at this benefit concert. Prominent figures such as Juan Carlos Córdova, Juan Pablo Alvarado, Leidy Maura Morales, the Adventist choir and the participant of the Teleamazonas reality show “Yo Me Llamo Julio Jaramillo” will come together to surprise the public and support this noble cause.
The Amor que Cobija Foundation invites all residents of Guayaquil to be part of this experience and work together to build a more just society, where everyone has the opportunity to live with dignity.
