All K-pop fans in Poland, but also in Europe, were waiting for this day, because the festival attracted fans from Germany, France and Spain to our country. And although a few days have passed since KPOP NATION (it took place on September 23), the emotions among fans have not faded away, and the Internet has been flooded with videos of idols’ performances. This evening will certainly remain in the memory and hearts of all event participants for a long time.
Having fun before the concerts
Fans had been waiting for their idols’ performances since the early morning hours, and they weren’t even bothered by the rainy weather. A Random Play Dance was organized in front of the stadium, a game very well known to K-pop fans. K-pop hits were played from the speakers, and those who knew the choreography for a given song came to the center and danced the routine. An additional attraction was the Red Carpet, for which you had to obtain a ticket by prior registration. The number of tickets was limited and the principle was first come, first served.
The festival started as scheduled at 7 p.m. The first band to perform was ZEROBASEONE, followed by the girl band KEP1ER. CIX was the third group that captivated the audience with their performance. What caught attention here was the amazing vocal parts of one of the members – SEUNGHUN – who sang high notes with ease, which was appreciated by the audience. SF9 then appeared on the scene. Here, apart from a great performance, fans will remember Zuho’s behavior for a long time, as he entertained the audience like a top-class entertainer. Then it was time for the performance of the duo Solar and Moonbyul from MAMAMOO+ – the girls once again proved that experience, vocals and good rap are a perfect combination that steals the audience’s hearts.
There were also surprises
(G)I-DLE appeared on stage one by one and brought the whole stadium to its feet with the song “Queencard”. The audience knew the lyrics of the song by heart, and the same was the case with their second hit song “TOMBOY”. An unexpected moment during their performance was the appearance of on the cake stage, as it turned out, one of the members – Yuqi – had a birthday. The stadium was lit by thousands of lights, and the birthday girl blew out the candles with the help of her friends.
THE BOYZ band was the penultimate one, the largest representation, consisting of as many as 11 people. What caught attention here was the energetic, synchronous choreography. Finally, the star of the evening appeared, the band MONSTA X, specifically the sub-unit Shownu and Hyungwon. They sang songs from their latest album “THE UNSEEN”, but also – which pleased the audience – such hits as “WHO DO U LOVE?” and “Shoot Out”. Importantly, the band leader assured that MONSTA X will return to Poland with its full lineup.
All groups tried to maintain contact with the audience gathered near the stage. The proof was numerous interactions, showing hearts, and noticing banners prepared by fans. The idols also took photos with the audience from the stage. Some even learned a few words and sentences in Polish, which caused loud cheers and applause. At the end of the event, colorful confetti was fired, and all the bands appeared on stage to bid a warm farewell to the gathered fans.
