“Nashawn’s passing has left a huge void in my life that cannot be described in words. As well as the pain and suffering I feel. He was not only my son, but also an extraordinary man whose character and strength inspired everyone who crossed his path.” – writes the rapper’s mother.

The artist died at the age of 46. Breedlove’s cause of death was not released. The rapper will be remembered primarily for his role in the Oscar-winning film “8 Mile”. It was Nashawn who played the role of an artist nicknamed Lotto, who had a verse fight with Eminem.

Should he win the battle against Eminem?

The duel in the film was won by Jimmy, known as B-Rabit, but over the years many fans of the production claimed that Lotto deserved to win and the result was unfair. Famous rapper Mickey Factz said goodbye to the deceased actor on his Instagram. “Rest in peace, the only master of ceremonies who defeated Eminem,” he wrote. Another musician known for verse fighting, Daylyt, expressed a similar opinion. “He’s the first rapper to be robbed of victory in a rap battle. He won the lotto!”

Breedlove also created under the pseudonym Ox. Before appearing in “8 Mile”, he wrote a song for the 2001 film “The Wash”. It featured Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.
