“Mystic Festival is, above all, music. The biggest metal stars in Poland have already performed under this banner, including Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Slayer, King Diamond, Slipknot, Nightwish and Celtic Frost. We host both living legends and the hottest phenomena of the season.” – we read in the organizers’ announcement.
Mystic Festival 2024. Where and when will it take place? Who will perform?
Next year’s festival, like the last two editions, will take place at the Gdańsk Shipyard. The organizers have planned four days filled with a variety of heavy music. Mystic Festival will take place on June 5-8, 2024.
Although there are over eight months left until the event, we have already met the first stars who will grace the event with their performances. Among them was the English Orange Goblin. “The weight of Black Sabbath’s first albums, Motörhead’s filthy boogie, the sound of classic heavy metal, the atmosphere of Hammer Film horror films and the London fog that hides a deadly threat,” we read in the description of the concert.
The next announcement is the participants of this year’s Eurovision Lord Of The Lost. German musicians visited the event in 2023, but due to technical problems they did not perform. The next artists that metal fans will hear in Gdańsk are the “deathcore beast from Australia”, Thy Art Is Murder. Black metal fans were happy with the fourth announcement. Satyricon will come to the Mystic Festival, “respected classics who feel at home at the Norwegian National Opera and enter into a fascinating dialogue with Edvard Munch, the precursor of expressionism.”
For dessert, the event organizers left the pioneers of the Dutch school of death metal. In June, Asphyx will perform on one of the stages in Gdańsk.

Tickets for the festival are available at mysticfestival.pl. Currently, a four-day Early Bird pass is available for sale for PLN 749 and a VIP pass for PLN 1,299. Prices will change.
The festival was established in 1999 and took place in the largest cities in Poland: Kraków, Wrocław, Chorzów and Katowice. He disappeared from the Polish concert map for a while, only to return in 2019. A year later, it moved to the unique space of the Gdańsk Shipyard, which provides festival goers with an inimitable atmosphere.
