Why is it worth loving cinema?
There is no denying that most of us visit this place occasionally. However, watching films on the big screen has only advantages, which is what the Cinema Festival is intended to encourage. Over half a million people took part in last year’s edition! The organizers of the event hope that the record will be broken this year. This is an ideal opportunity to spend unique time with friends or family. A visit to the cinema cannot be compared to sitting in front of the TV. It is easier to concentrate in a large hall because there are no distractions. Additionally, perfect sound and image of the highest quality make us experience what we see more intensely. Cinema also improves the functioning of our brain and well-being. This was demonstrated, among others, by scientific experiment conducted on volunteers by University College London and Vue Entertainment. Although the subjects sat still during the session, their hearts beat a regular rhythm and the heart rate was between 40-80%, which is considered exceptionally healthy. What’s more, everyone had a similar experience, which also indicates the emotional nature of viewing and stronger social bonds. Scientists also emphasized that we live in times of “multi-tasking”, while a movie screening is a great exercise for the brain, improving concentration. In a spacious room with a large screen, it is easier to break away from social media. , or homework and simply focus on the story you are watching.1 Cinema Festival is the best opportunity to break away from reality, especially since everyone will certainly find something for themselves.
