Nine months after the actor’s death, it was decided to honor him at work as well. For years, Kamiński was the director of the Kamienica Theater, which he founded. Now actors will be able to perform in this place on the stage named after him.

Until now, the stage was called “Elite”. On Tuesday, however, it was solemnly renamed the “Emiliana Stage”. Justyna Sieńczło revealed that the originator of the idea was the actor’s son, Kajetan, but he quickly denied it:
I’ll tell you why. The originator of the idea is actually our people. Our people have always wanted to have a place where they can come and feel their boss – said the moved son of Emilian Kamiński.
According to Kulturalni.pl, the interior is filled with memorabilia of the actor. There you can find photos, diplomas, awards and instruments. The room can accommodate over 100 people.
Justyna Sieńczło and her son took over the Kamienica Theater after Emilian Kamiński. The repertoire remained unchanged, in accordance with his wishes, and the performances were not canceled. “We play because Emilian would expect it from us,” wrote Sieńńczyło and Dorota Kamińska shortly after his death.
