“Marvels” is the studio’s latest film, which will be released in Polish cinemas on November 10. The production will continue the threads not only from “Captain Marvel”, but also from the series “WandaVision” and “Ms. Marvel”. The main characters will be Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau, who will have to join forces to save the universe.
Nia DaCosta didn’t know how to find her way in the Marvel world
The film is directed by Nia DaCosta, who recently gave an interview to “”. She directly admitted that she had a big problem when it came to implementing the rules of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In addition, she had difficulty understanding some scenes.
The director also said that before she decided to work on this film, she decided to contact other Marvel Studios filmmakers. Her contact list included Chloé Zhao (“Eternals”), James Gunn (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) and Taika Waititi (Thor productions). As DaCosta said:
I was wondering if they (the rulers of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – editor’s note) would kill me and eat my soul? Is Kevin Feige a bad person? But the directors I contacted told me, ‘No, he’s a good guy who was just a nerd at school.’

The film is supposed to be “cool and goofy”, which the director sees as a chance to attract new viewers.
