The author of the post revealed that from the very beginning she was afraid that her parents might publicly show her photos from the time when she was quite overweight. As a teenager, she was also bullied by her peers, and the memories of it are still traumatic for her today. So she asked parents not to show degrading photos during their speeches. Although – according to her account – they clearly wanted to do it, they promised to refrain. However, they did not keep their promise.
During their speeches, the bride’s parents presented rolls of photos of their daughter. It was a combination of photos from her youth, in which the girl’s obesity was clearly visible. They had to choose shots in which their daughter was eating food fast food and she made “weird faces”. As the distraught woman wrote in her published entry, the photos were “degrading and disgusting in every respect.” The reaction of the wedding guests also turned out to be extremely scandalous. Few people showed her support and understanding.

– she described. Her husband – as she continued – initially thought they were tears of emotion and happiness. Only later did he realize that his beloved was simply devastated. The bitterness came from the words of her mother, who revealed her daughter’s nickname from school when she was being bullied.

– the bride’s mother was to say to everyone. The scandalous behavior of the woman’s parents made the newlyweds decide to simply leave their own wedding. Moreover, it turned out that the family and guests started looking for them after some time and “were angry” that the couple had left the party.

– confided the new wife. She also admitted that the groom was very outraged by the behavior of his parents-in-law and friends – he even threatened to hit them if they did not leave the wedding. After returning home, the woman “cried all night.” She added that she is still in a bad mental state and her parents have not yet apologized to her for what they did.

Her post caused a huge stir, and the described behavior of the bride’s parents literally – and rightly – enraged Internet users. “I think you should take a break from them, limit contact or have no contact at all. They bully you, they don’t support you, and you don’t need them! Your family should support you, encourage you, not humiliate you. They are selfish. Take a break, focus on herself and her beloved husband,” advised one of the website users.

Your husband seems amazing. If your family is so blatantly disrespectful to you, I wouldn’t accept an apology. This toxic behavior only shows that they feel they have done nothing wrong.
