“I turned down four offers”: communication expert Carlos Luis Andrade explains why he stays away from television

In a conversation with a journalist Gabriela Villonin the digital program A meeting with Gaby (Youtube), Andrade revealed that he had no shortage of job offers, but turned his back on them. “I turned down four offers to come back to television,” he said in an interview.

According to the former television host, his decision is not due to economic factors. “I have never negotiated a salary on television, never, never in my life have I been moved by how much there is to earn, there are things that have a rate that has value and I do not deviate a step. I’m not a marketer, I’m a social communicator. It’s not because of the economy, what’s happening is that I’m in a phase of my life where I invest a lot of energy in what I do, and that monster that creates television seems to be sleeping, so it becomes demanding.”

However, he clarified, this position does not mean that he is necessarily closed to the possibility of participating in a new television project, as long as it meets his expectations.

“We will wait. I recently turned down a very nice gastronomic proposal, which involved going on a trip, being away for two months and I can’t, because I produce, I have my clients… I don’t close the door to anything in my life. , if at any time there is a “I do it again for a living and I’ll be happy to be a good clown.”
