However, we must remember that winter usually comes later and is shorter. Covering them too early could be detrimental to them because it would happen before they go dormant.
As a rule, plants should be covered when regular frosts occur. The ground should be frozen 3 – 4 cm. It is worth remembering to purchase appropriate covering materials in advance. Thanks to this, it will be possible to capture the right moment to perform protective treatments.

- Chinese miscanthus and other ornamental grasses;
- garden hydrangeas;
- fruit trees;

- branches of conifers – often constitute waste during autumn cleaning and can be reused to protect plants.

The advantage of agrotextile is that it can be used to double or even triple wrap the plant. This allows for the appropriate selection of the coil thickness depending on the species’ resistance to freezing. Thanks to agrotextile, it is also possible to protect plants against damage.

You just need to make sure that they are attached aesthetically, e.g. by using ribbons. Then the garden will look attractive even in winter.
