The production premiered on October 27, 2018 on HBO and became a sensation almost immediately. The main character is Kuba Nitecki, whom we meet when he is already a cocaine dealer known throughout Warsaw. Although many use his services, as his clients are almost exclusively the biggest celebrities, no one really knows who and what he is. On a daily basis, he associates with local gangsters who control his every move. Tired of the situation, he decides to escape to Argentina, but first he has to settle several important matters. He only has 7 days to do so. At this time, Dario, a gangster who was serving a several-year sentence, is released from prison. When their paths cross, nothing will be the same again.
The director of the 8-episode story, which premiered in 2018, was Krzysztof Skonieczny, who also worked on the script together with Jakub Żulczyk. The producer was Izabela Łopuch, and the photos were taken by Michał Englert. The production featured a galaxy of the biggest stars of Polish cinema.
