Due to the premiere of the film, Player.pl decided to temporarily change the colors to pink.
“On the occasion of a unique film event, the website will change its colors to pink. In this version, it will be available to its customers throughout the week,” we read in a statement from Player.pl.
How much does the rental cost?
Renting for 48 hours will cost users PLN 40. This is quite a lot, considering that we can still watch Greta Gerwig’s film in cinemas, where tickets can be purchased for about PLN 17. Of course, we are talking about screenings on specific days – in Helios the cheapest tickets are available on Tuesdays, while in Cinema City – on Wednesdays.
Although the screening may actually cost less than renting a movie online, many people will certainly decide to take this step due to the comfort that will be provided by watching “Barbie” from the comfort of their home. After all, not everyone has the time or opportunity to go to the cinema at a specific time.
Many viewers also hoped that “Barbie” would soon appear on HBO Max, but according to announcements, it is expected to happen in the fall of this year at the earliest. For now, the film is available on Player.pl and iTunes.
