Manuela Michalak won the hearts of viewers in “Big Brother”. Now he is running in the elections

Manuela Michalak entered the Big Brother house 22 years ago and thanks to the TVN program she gained great recognition. Now, however, he argues that this is not why he counts on the voters’ favor. He will run for the Senate from the list of Non-Party Local Government Members.

Manuela Michalak was 27 years old when she took part in the first season of “Big Brother”. After she took second place in the program and became remembered by many people, including: Due to her frequent and characteristic laugh, she appeared in two films taking advantage of the popularity of the TVN show participants: “Gulczas, a jak się…” and “Yyyreek!!! Cosmic nomination”. For three years, she also co-hosted the TVN program “Marathon of Smiles”, and then she appeared in the media only sporadically. Now she has decided to run for the senate in the October parliamentary elections.

Michalak, who joined the Freedom Union in 2001 but has been non-partisan for years, wants to follow in the footsteps of another “Big Brother” participant. The winner of the first edition of the show, then city guard Janusz Dzięcioł, was a member of the Sejm of the 6th and 7th term on behalf of the Civic Platform (during the second term, he left PO, remaining in its parliamentary club). On December 6, 2019, the former MP became the victim of an accident that occurred in the morning at a railway crossing in Biały Bór near Grudziądz. In a place where there were no barriers, a passenger car and a train collided. As a result of this event.

As Michalak says in an interview with WP.pl, she was once repeatedly persuaded by her colleague from “Big Brother” to run in the parliamentary elections. However, she decided only now and says:

You are not voting for Manuela from ‘Big Brother’, but for a person with over twenty years of experience in social activities.
