Your audition for your role in Champeta, the rhythm of the land It happened in the middle of a trip to Cartagena, while finishing the recordings of Club 57. “They asked me for a video dancing champeta, I was on the beach, I asked someone at the hotel to teach me to dance champeta quickly, literally someone who worked at the hotel, I sent the video and there I started the process. That’s where the video auditions started, but they never tell you it’s Disney. Until they tell me when I was in Tulum (Mexico), I had to drop everything, run, luckily there was a flight that night and I arrived the next day for the face-to-face test and there I continued doing other tests with actors, “he adds. Johann is excited about this project that will also be available for the platform Disney +.
“For me it is truly an honor as an Ecuadorian to come to Disney,” emphasizes Johann, who in this series will take on the role of Michael. “What this character represents is going to be beautiful, many people will be able to identify with him.
