The Duke of Sussex gave a brief speech at the ceremony, which of course could not ignore the anniversary of the death of Elizabeth II, a date for which no official event is planned, since Charles III and his wife Camilla will spend it privately at their Balmoral residence.

In 2022, the WellChild Awards were held on September 8, the same day that Queen Elizabeth II died, so the Duke of Sussex was absent from the event, the Tikitakas column in half ace. He later traveled to London to attend the monarch’s funeral at Westminster Abbey.
