Although Oskar and Steez regularly release music with other artists from time to time, they have not released an album as a duo for over two years. This is about to change soon, because on December 1, the boys’ next album will debut on store shelves and on streaming services. “PROXL3M”. The name of the album refers to the duo’s decade of existence.
Andrzej Chyra can be dangerous in any role – both a bailiff and a gangster
“Nicea” was chosen as the first single promoting the upcoming release, for which a music video was created as part of the Papaya New Directors competition. Andrzej Chyra found herself in a dark and raw setting, this time playing the role of a gangster who travels through the dark corners of a big city to find one of his clients – a rapper (played by Marcel OpaliĆski). The clip has already been viewed over half a million times within 24 hours.
The lyrics of the song are a kind of diss to rappers who pretend to be gangsters by boasting about expensive clothes and a life of luxury, but in reality they wear fakes of famous brands. In the clip, we observe them through the eyes of an old-school gangster, Chyra. To emphasize this message, Oskar raps directly in one of the last lines of the chorus: “Marcel is a rapper and Andrzej Chyra is a gangster.”
Along with the premiere of the clips, the pre-order of the upcoming album, which is available in three versions, also started on the band’s official website. There is a Classic preorder, which will include a bonus track and a CD with instrumentals. The second one is called “Nokia burner”, which consists of a Nokia 2660 Flip phone, a Czech SIM card and a memory card with a disc in the original and instrumental version, as well as photos and additional materials. The third version is a classic preorder enriched with special, created on a 3D printer and handcrafted case.
