Fortunately, an influencer who runs an account on TikTok called @calitafire3, he always has a ready riposte for them. And as he emphasizes, he does not intend to worry about other people’s opinions, especially anonymous people on the Internet. She calls herself a “hairy woman”. The Tiktoker has previously openly talked about the background of her decision to accept natural body hair.

Even though she opens up to her followers and explains all the reasons behind her choice, it still doesn’t stop some people from criticizing her appearance. In one of her latest recordings, she decided to deal with one of the extremely rude comments towards her, which read: “When you have so much hair, the problem is the smell of raw fish.”

The influencer decided to set an example for other women who follow on TikTok and did not let these words have any impact on her mood. In response to the comment, she simply showed herself – lying with one arm raised to show the hair under her arms. She added that in fact it is quite the opposite and – as she claims – her natural scent attracts others.

– she said. – Maybe the hair absorbs the scent, but this scent contains pheromones – and this is attractive to humans – she added. The 30-year-old revealed that she hasn’t shaved for three years and has no intention of changing it anytime soon. She runs an account on the popular Chinese platform largely to promote the acceptance of a natural appearance, including hair – which is an inherent part of it. She wants to spread her message of self-acceptance and doesn’t shy away from showing off in a bikini.

She captioned one of her videos in which she presents herself in a swimsuit: “Body hair is beautiful.” In yet another recording, she explained that her 30th birthday was a kind of breakthrough for her. Reaching this age has somewhat changed her way of thinking. – I accept myself, my thirties. Along with my body hair, she pointed.

Hair removal in Poland and beyond. Have we always wanted smooth armpits?

It is worth emphasizing that the current fashion for full body hair removal – although it is doing great and manufacturers are competing with each other in releasing newer and newer hair removal devices – is relatively young. An interesting fact is that the first advertisement – encouraging women to remove natural hair from the armpit area – appeared only in 1915 in the iconic American magazine Harper’s Bazaar.

In Europe, however, this trend took hold much later! The fashion for completely smooth armpits became established on our continent only many years after the end of World War II. But not necessarily in Poland. Polish women did not accept depilation of this part of the body for much longer, while the fashion for completely smooth armpits took over our country only at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s. It is worth paying attention to cinema stars from before this period – e.g. stills and shots from old films or their photographs from archival magazine covers. At that time, few women got rid of naturally occurring armpit hair.
